We went to Granada this past weekend and stopped in Cordoba on the way. Both cities were beautiful and our cameras were snapping away the entire time. In Cordoba, we were able to see the Cathedral de Cordoba and the structural design was incredible! Vaulted ceilings and colorful arches and columns filled its chambers. It is considered one of the most accomplished monuments of Islamic architecture. As we swerved our way through Cordoba’s winding streets we landed upon a cute restaurant for lunch. Aly and I ordered the special and in return were given bull’s tail. It was quite the experience and I don’t know if I would recommend it!

We arrived in Granada on Friday evening and were able to see Morgan (our roommate) from home. She took us to a Moroccan teahouse where lanterns, pillows, and brightly colored tapestries hung every which way. It was so nice to see a familiar face in Spain! During our stay in Granada, we had fun getting lost and exploring all that this beautiful city had to offer. Tapas upon tapas, beautiful cathedrals, busy markets, our first hamburger in Spain, coffee shops, and lastly a tour of the Alhambra, which was probably our favorite part. It took two hours to get through the palace and the gardens; there was so much to see.

Enjoy the pictures from the weekend!
